Select by Polygon
You can select features in the map display by drawing a polygon around them using the Select By Polygon tool.

The polygons created by this tool will persist in the map view. When in Pan mode you can select the features by the polygon again or remove a polygon by clicking it and selecting the Delete button from the radial menu. You can also remove all graphics using the Remove Graphics tool (see Remove Graphics).
